1948-gibson-lg-2-vintage-sunburst-321726-pdx
1948 Gibson LG-2 Vintage Sunburst #321726 (PDX)

There's absolutely nothing like a vintage LG-2, and this is a special one. Aside from some new tuners, it's all original with a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard and bridge, spruce top, and mahogany neck, back, and sides. It sounds incredible and is ready for a loving new home.

This guitar has been very well cared for throughout its life and is in Very Good Vintage condition. There is normal cosmetic wear for an instrument of this age including some scratches and aging of finish, but this one is very clean in comparison to other LG-2s of its age. The frets show a bit of playwear but still have a good amount of life in them.

Freshly inspected and set up in-house by our esteemed Guitar Tech.

__________________________________________________________________

SPECIFICATIONS:

Non-Original Chrome/Nickel Tuners

Original 1 11/16” Bone Nut

Mahogany Neck with 24 3/4” Scale Length

Neck Thickness .89" at First Fret and .98" at Tenth Fret

Brazilian Rosewood Fingerboard with Dot Inlays and 12" Radius

19 Medium Frets in Very Good Condition

Original Brazilian Rosewood Bridge and Bone Saddle

Spruce Top and Mahogany Back and Sides in Vintage Sunburst Finish

Weight 3 lbs. 9 oz.

Later Hard Shell Case

Serial Number 321726

__________________________________________________________________

NOTE TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS:

We want you to be happy with your purchase and we try to represent the condition of all used and vintage guitars as accurately as possible in our listings.
