A 1967 Fender Vibro Champ amplifier in Excellent vintage condition with very modest wear and tear for an amp of this age, including a few minor scuffs and nicks. This amp is a great example with a clean vintage patina. Missing three screws on the back panels. Upgraded Jensen speaker, but it comes with its Original speaker as well.
About 5-6 watts from a single 6V6 power tube, with a 12AX7 preamp tube and a 5Y3GT rectifier in a class A single-ended circuit. Sparkling cleans at low volumes and the amp breaks up nicely with a gritty overdrive when pushed. It's punchy for its size and a joy to play at home or in the studio. NOTE TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS:
We want you to be happy with your purchase and we try to represent the condition of all used and vintage amplifiers as accurately as possible in our listings. We almost never use the term Mint because every amp will have some signs of use and wear. We call out all areas of damage or unusual wear, and describe the overall condition based upon what is "normal" for the age of the amplifier. Expect to see minor wear and evidence of normal use and aging which may not be captured by photography or explicitly mentioned in the listing.
We recognize that everyone has their own personal standard of what constitutes acceptable wear and tear. If play wear is especially critical for you, please contact us at the Shop for a complete in-hand description and to answer any questions you may have. Your satisfaction is of paramount importance to us.
