Folks, this is a special one. Custom made by Creston Lea of Vermont-based Creston Electric Instruments, this bass is entirely one-of-a-kind. It has a slightly short 32" scale length, a Lollar P-bass pickup, and Hipshot drop-D tuner, but what really makes this bass shine is the gorgeous wood. The body is torrefied salvaged pine with unique diamond details here and there, and the neck is quartersawn torrefied maple with a hand-painted flower detail by Creston collaborator Sarah Ryan on the heel. Most importantly, this bass is super comfy to play and sounds great.
It's in Excellent condition with some light scratches and a few small dings, which could possibly be remnants from the previous life of the salvaged wood.
