In collaboration with our friends at the Fender Custom Shop, we are proud to present the New Fender Custom Shop 1962 Thunder Road Jazzmaster. This example is a Journeyman Relic model in 3 Tone Sunburst. Our take on the Jazzmaster has been in the works for years and we couldn't be more proud of the result. This model is super lightweight due to a proprietary chambered body which gives the instrument an incredible resonant and lively tone. We designed our own pickup based off the hand wound '62 Jazzmaster set and feel it sounds wonderful in all positions. In addition, these instruments feature an AAA Roasted Flame Maple neck with a 9.5" -12" Compound radius fingerboard and 6105 Narrow Tall frets. The bridge is a custom shop RSD bridge with brass saddles, and it feels amazing. If you need to add a Jazzmaster to your collection, we think you should consider one of these!
